Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Stepdown unit in Morgantown, WV. Night shift, 12 hours, weekends included. Requires active WV or compact RN license and BLS; 2+ years of nursing experience. BSN not required. EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Open to travelers and permanent staff; benefits include housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the 8 West Stepdown/MedSurg unit of an acute care hospital.
• 12-hour night shift schedule with weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Previous perm employees must have a 2-year break before reapplying.
• Previous travelers who worked a full year must have a 2-year break before returning.
• Travelers are limited to a maximum of one year of cumulative work within the WVU system before requiring a 2-year break.
• All candidates interview directly with the unit manager.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
