Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele travel assignment in Dothan, Alabama. The role requires cardiac drip proficiency, active RN license in Alabama, BLS, and at least 1 year of recent RN experience. Night shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with 3x12 or 4x12 schedules and a 13-week contract.

Travelers must reside at least 90 miles away; first-time travelers welcome. Compensation includes hourly wages, stipends for lodging and meals, and comprehensive travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Active AL or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience.
• Proficiency with cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Experience in large healthcare facilities preferred.
• Two professional references required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit for adult and geriatric patients.
• Night shift with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM schedule; 3x12 or 4x12 based on traveler preference.
• Maintain patient safety and telemetry monitoring in a Med/Surg unit.
• Adhere to facility protocols and assignment of patient care duties.
