American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center. The role requires documented med/telemetry experience and BLS/ACLS certification, with no RTO during the contract and on-site duties in Georgia.

The position features 12-hour night shifts, a 1:5 patient ratio, Epic EMR, and trauma care involving acute medications and Heparin therapy. Additional benefits and travel-friendly pay structures may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license GA or Compact currently in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Documented Med/Surg Telemetry experience with skills checklist.
• Experience in a high-acuity trauma hospital setting required.
• Prior experience in SNF, Rehab, or NICHE training is a plus.
• No RTO permitted during contract.

Responsibilities

• 32-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving adult and older adult patients.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• Trauma patients requiring Heparin drips and acute medications as ordered.
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Specialty equipment includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment.
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month.
• No block scheduling approved for most units.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide care for trauma patients requiring close monitoring and acute medication administration.
• Work within a high-pressure, high-volume Level 1 trauma center environment.
• Mandatory holiday coverage required for Thanksgiving Day or the day after, and either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates.
