American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Med/Surg-Orthopedics Float Pool at a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Illinois. Description

American Americanveler is hring an experperienced RN for a Med/Surg-Ortho Float Pool position requiring IL RN license, EPIC experience, and Level 1 Trauma background.

Details
  • Float pool position within the Med/Surg-Orthopedic units at a Level 1 Trauma hospital
  • Care for orthopedic and medical/surgical patient population
  • Utilizes EPIC EMR for charting
  • Performs traction setup and manipulation of surgical traction devices
  • Manages wound appliances including wound vacs, drains, pouches, and urological devices
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each
  • Requires 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
  • Rotating holiday coverage required
  • Floats to similar units as needed
Requirements
  • Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temporary license accepted)

  • Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience requiredASN required, BSN preferred
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Skilled in orthopedic and medical/surgical patient assessment
