American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Oncology RN Care Manager for a Hema/Onc clinic in Washington. Requires at least 2 years of outpatient oncology experience and an active WA or Compact RN license.

Responsabilidades

• Outpatient Hema/Oncology clinic setting within an acute care facility
• Patient population includes pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and general medical oncology cases
• Clinic RN role with limited chemo teaching (max 3 per day) and ~20–30 patient encounters daily
• Majority of patient interaction via phone triage and MyChart messaging
• Staffing: 1–2 providers per RN with 1:1 MA support
• Charge RN available on the unit
• Schedule is Mon-Fri, 0800–1630 or 0830–1700
• Uses Epic EMR
• No weekend/holiday/call/standby/floating requirements
• Responsibilities include triage, nursing assessment, chemotherapy education (virtual and in-person), treatment-plan education, care coordination, and refills
• Collaborates with providers and care team on patient needs
• Onboarding includes 1–2 weeks shadowing
• Dress code: grey/black/white/blue scrubs or business casual
• First-time travelers may be considered

• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Valid driver's license required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Hema/Oncology clinic setting within an acute care facility
• Patient population includes pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and general medical oncology cases
• Clinic RN role (not an infusion position) with a maximum of 3 chemo teaches per day and approximately 20-30 patient encounters daily
• Majority of patient interaction occurs via phone triage and MyChart messaging rather than scheduled appointments
• Staffing ratio of 1-2 providers per RN, supported by Medical Assistants at a 1:1 ratio with providers
• Charge RN available on the unit
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, either 0800-1630 or 0830-1700
• Uses Epic EMR
• No weekend, holiday, call/standby, or floating requirements
• Responsibilities include phone triage, nursing assessment, chemotherapy education (virtual and in-person), patient education on treatment plans and disease processes, care coordination for complex patients, and prescription refills
• Collaborates closely with providers and care team members on patient care needs
• Unit/department-specific onboarding consists of 1-2 weeks shadowing an RN and provider
• Dress code includes grey, black, white, or blue scrubs, or business casual attire
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
