American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Oncology RN for a day shift position based in California. Requires CA RN licensure, 2+ years oncology experience, and ONS Chemo certification.

The role includes 4x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend, no on-call, and floating to Med/Surg, Med/Tele, and ED. Epic charting is used for documentation. Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required.
• BLS and ONS Chemo certification required.
• OCN certification preferred.
• IVIG experience required.
• MS/Tele and telemetry experience required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Skills in IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, PICC line management, and chemotherapy administration/monitoring.
• Experience with blood product administration and port access/management.
• Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and tracheostomy management.
• Cardiac monitoring skills including dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Wound care and isolation precaution experience.
• IV insulin protocol and titration experience.
• One professional reference within last 2 years.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients including chemotherapy administration and monitoring.
• Oncology unit within a hospital setting.
• Float to Med/Surg, Med/Tele, and ED based on census.
• Use Epic for documentation.
• Self-scheduling for this unit.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• First-time travelers will be considered if experienced.

• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
