American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Oncology RN for a Med/Surg unit in a Chicago hospital. The ideal candidate holds an active IL RN license and has Oncology nursing and Epic EMR experience. This assignment offers high pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Shifts are days, 3x12s from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every-other weekend and some holiday coverage. Traveling nurses may receive housing allowances, travel and licensure reimbursements, and day-one insurance options.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license in hand.
• Oncology nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be considered.
• Current Nursys report required, pulled within the last 2 weeks.
• No license disciplinary actions allowed.

Responsabilités

• Oncology unit within a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• Some holiday coverage may be required.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit.
• RTO requests limited to no more than 3 days and may not be taken during the first or last week of the contract.
• Any scheduling or block requests must be submitted prior to starting the assignment.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• Former staff from University of Chicago Medicine-affiliated locations must have a 7-month separation before returning as a traveler.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
