Qualifications

• Active IL RN license in hand or in the application process.
• Minimum of 1 year recent oncology nursing experience.
• Proficiency in chemotherapy skills including administration, post-chemotherapy fluid handling, infusion, IV push, cytotoxic spill management, and abnormal lab recognition.
• Proficiency in IV therapy/infusion including port access, central line care, blood product administration, and starting IVs.

• Unit has 24 beds with an average daily census of 24 patients.
• Day shift schedule with options for 4x12 or 3x12 hour shifts from 7:15 AM to 6:45 PM.

• No on-call responsibilities.
• Patient care involves chemotherapy administration and IV therapy.
• Local candidates are accepted without a radius restriction.

• Unit has 24 beds with an average daily census of 24 patients
• Day shift schedule with options for 4x12 or 3x12 hour shifts from 7:15 AM to 6:45 PM
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating within scope to meet unit needs may be required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient care involves chemotherapy administration and IV therapy
• Local candidates are accepted without a radius restriction
• Provide nursing care for oncology patients including administration and monitoring of chemotherapy and supportive therapies
• Team environment with support in a Magnet-recognized hospital
• First-time travelers are welcome
• No cost for parking permit; form completed during orientation
• Maximum requested time off ideally no more than 5 days
• Discuss block schedule requests directly with manager
• Scrubs in any solid color allowed
