Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care night position in Rochester, MN. Active MN RN license and specific LTC/AL/Short Term Rehab experience are required. This on-site role runs 36 hours per week over three nights (6p–6a) and uses the Epic EMR for charting.

Minimum 1 year RN experience in the specialty; Rochester facilities may require 2 years or 3 total travel assignments. BLS is mandatory; graduation from ACEN/CCNE accredited programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required; no pending licenses.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in the specialty; Rochester, MN facilities require 2 years or 3 total travel assignments.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE); additional experience if not accredited or if graduation was not within the last two years.
• Additional specialty certification/training may be required by work area.

Responsibilities

• Work in Long Term Care setting within a Charter House Administration/Nursing unit.
• Assist Living and Short Term Rehab experience required; Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Night shift, 6p-6a, 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week.
• On-site position with no teleworking options.
• Uses Epic EMR for charting.
• May call off or have shifts canceled up to 3 per 13 weeks due to low census.
• Coordinate direct patient care, education, and transitions of care within Mayo Clinic Nursing model.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care; provide leadership through preceptor roles.
