Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Travel Registered Nurse to support Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Wisconsin, covering Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, and neuro.

The role requires a Wisconsin license, BLS, 2+ years acute care RN experience, and Telemetry exam success. Night shifts 3x12s, weekends/holidays as needed, with Epic EMR.

This travel position offers housing allowance, guaranteed pay and per diems, travel and licensure reimbursements, and day‑one benefits.

Qualifications

• Active WI license or compact license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Experience working across multiple Med/Surg specialty units required.
• Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the last 12 months.
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and an 80% or higher overall score
• Travel RN experience required.
• Teaching hospital, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float RN role covering various Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, and neuro
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 1900-0730
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating to other units required as needed, including Neuro and Oncology
• Uses Epic EMR
• Exposure to cardiac telemetry, neuro stepdown, and telemetry oncology patient populations
• Work at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as the top hospital in Wisconsin
• Up to two attempts allowed to pass telemetry exam; a third attempt requires completion of a cardiac interpretation review course
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• References are not required for consideration
• Responsibilities may include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, wound care, insulin drip titration, IV therapy, and post-surgical care across multiple specialties
