Additional Information

Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups from pediatric to geriatric
Deliver competent clinical care including knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing care and patient progress
Follow National Patient Safety Goals including use of two patient identifiers and safe transfer techniques
Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and instructions
Evaluate pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness based on procedure, age, and health status
Prioritize patient care based on individual needs and condition changes
Local candidates accepted
Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date before requiring a break
