American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Med-Surg position at a nationally recognized Critical Access Hospital in Iowa. OB/L&D experience is required and charge RN responsibilities are included.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with rotating 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week), including weekday and weekend nights. On-site travel nursing with competitive weekly pay and stipends is provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
OB/Labour & Delivery (OB/L&D) experience required.
Multi-unit coverage including Med-Surg is beneficial.
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration.

Responsibilities

Labor & Delivery focus with OB/L&D responsibilities.
Cover Med-Surg units when OB needs are met.
Serve as Charge RN on an as-needed basis.
Rotate 12-hour shifts including weekdays and weekend nights.

Details

Critical Access Hospital setting covering multiple units including Labor & Delivery, Med-Surg, Mother/Baby, Nursery, Peds, and Ortho
Primary focus is obstetrics (L&D), with Med-Surg coverage when there are no OB patient needs
12-hour shifts with both weekday and weekend night shifts
Holiday coverage based on rotation
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
OB/Labor & Delivery experience is required
Experience across Med-Surg settings (adult, mother/baby, ortho, peds) is beneficial given the multi-unit coverage
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
