The role features a day shift, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, in an Internal Medicine and Triage setting with Epic EMR charting. Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, telephone triage, patient teaching, and medication management.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license (pending license accepted with ETA of 3 weeks).
• BLS certification required, ACLS required at time of consideration.
• NIHSS certification may be pending but must be completed during compliance.
• Previous outpatient clinic experience required.
• GI clinic experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Skills in patient assessment including vital signs, pain assessment, and medication reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting within an Internal Medicine and Triage specialty area
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Epic charting system required
• Duties include office tasks such as scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and telephone triage
• Responsibilities include patient teaching, medication refills, imaging results follow-up, and biohazard waste disposal
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance, with one from the most recent assignment or permanent position for certain unit types
• Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Facility cannot accommodate travelers with latex allergies
• Travelers may return only after a minimum 1-year separation from a prior assignment
• Travel pairs accepted
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
