Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for an Outpatient Neurology Clinic in Washington. The role requires a WA or compact RN license, 1 year of RN experience, and Epic EMR proficiency. The schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, with no weekends or on-call.

Travel eligibility applies; first-time travelers are welcome. Includes benefits and reimbursements for housing, travel, and licensure. Active BLS is required, and the RN will manage patient calls, triage, and lab/imaging coordination

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with telephone triage, specimen collection, venipuncture, and vital signs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology clinic setting treating patients with TBI, stroke, CVA, substance abuse, and other neurological conditions.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• No weekend requirements.
• No on-call requirements.
• Uses Epic EMR for charting, order management, and documentation.
• May float within scope to meet facility needs as needed.
• Manage Epic nurse in-boxes, work queues, and inbound clinical faxes requiring provider review.
• Triage and respond to patient phone calls and MyChart messages.
• Process medication refill requests and route for provider signature.
• Coordinate lab and imaging orders and results, including high acuity infusion coordination.
• Transcribe voicemail messages and abstract genetic testing labs into Epic.
• Support patient safety and continuity of care across assigned providers.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel rate.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period.
