Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Kansas. Active KS or Compact RN license and BLS are required, with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg (acute care) experience.

New graduates are not accepted. Expect night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and weekend/floating assignments; credentialing must be completed prior to start.

Qualifications

• Active KS or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg (acute care) RN experience required.
• New grads not accepted.
• TB test or blood draw within past 12 months.
• Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunizations or titers within past 12 months.
• TDAP vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in an acute care hospital.
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• 13-week contract length.
• Weekend shifts as needed.
• Floating as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Orientation with HR before on-floor training.
• Travelers expected to work at least every other holiday.
• Full-week RTO requests during major holidays not accepted.
• Credentialing documents due by the Wednesday before start.

• Current BLS certification in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg (acute care) RN experience required
• Previous Med/Surg or step-down experience preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months required
• Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required
• TDAP vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit setting within an acute care hospital
