Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a day shift in Kerrville, TX. The role requires 2 years of med/surg and short-stay experience, with an active TX or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in a new building with an experienced care team.
• Day shift 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM.
• No block scheduling; patient ratio 1:5 days, 1:6 nights.
• Floating to 2W, CDU, ARU as needed.
• Meditech charting system preferred.
• Unit emphasizes kindness, compassion, and teamwork.
• Must work 3 of 5 winter holidays.
• Candidates reside within 50 miles; local candidates not accepted.
• Facility housing available.
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical unit in a new building with an experienced, welcoming care team
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No block scheduling available
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights
• Floating required to 2W, CDU, and ARU units
• Meditech charting system preferred
• Unit culture emphasizes kindness, compassion, and teamwork
• Must work 3 out of 5 winter holidays
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
• Facility housing available
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
• Located in Kerrville, within Texas wine country and about an hour from San Antonio
