Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift hospital assignment in Texas. The ideal candidate holds a TX or Compact RN license and Cerner EMR experience.

BLS and Prevention First certifications are required, with license and ID verification as part of the application process. Responsibilities include working in a Med/Surg unit, 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30) and ensuring you are within 50 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prevention First certification required.
• Must meet required experience for the position.
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Social Security Number required (full preferred, last 4 acceptable)
• Date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit setting in a hospital environment.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30.
• 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 expected weekly hours).
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Local candidates may be considered depending on market, pending confirmation.
• Returning permanent employees must obtain approval prior to consideration.
• Candidates should keep requested time off to less than 7 days.
• Change of staffing agency is not permitted once engaged with this client.
