Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN with 2+ years of experience for a day shift assignment in a 232-bed short-term acute care hospital in Tennessee. Inpatient oncology care is included and patient ratio is 1:5-6.

Every other weekend is required, no on-call duties, and floating is within scope to maintain ratios. Paragon charting and blue scrubs policy apply. RTO rules are evaluated case-by-case; local candidates within 50 miles are not considered.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Two professional references
• Copies of driver's license and SSN card required

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical unit in a short-term acute care hospital with 232 staffed beds
• Includes inpatient oncology patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM-7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope, but not exceeding 1:5-6
• Uses Paragon charting system
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg and inpatient oncology
• First-time travelers welcome
• RTO restrictions handled case-by-case
• Local candidates not accepted within 50-mile radius
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Free parking available
