Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Provide patient education, triage, and nursing interventions across care settings.
• Operate within the Nurse Practice Act and Sanford Standards of Practice.
