• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized patient care and collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues.
• Care for patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate care, assess patients, provide education, triage and various nursing interventions.
• Work within the scope and standards of nursing practice as defined by state regulations and professional ethics.
