Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents, coordinating care with families, residents, and a multi-disciplinary team. The role covers assessment, planning, and evaluation of care in a patient-centered environment.

The RN will work within state practice rules, maintaining competencies and certifications, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to staff as needed to ensure safe, reliable care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents and families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
