Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents across the Good Samaritan network. You will use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team.

Travel within a 75 mile radius will be required. A licensed RN in good standing is essential, with preference for a Bachelor's degree and accredited program completion, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care and collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
