Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care to residents using the nursing process—from assessment through evaluation—collaborating with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and deliver services.

The RN will perform care coordination, patient education, and nursing interventions across preventive and acute care settings. A licensed RN and a BSN degree are preferred, with strong ethics and commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborates with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinates care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff within competence.
