Job summary

Sanford Health in the upper Midwest is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care to residents in long-term care settings, using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. You will collaborate with residents, families and an interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license in good standing with the state board; multistate licensure acceptable where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with resident, family and inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing knowledge and standards.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address care concerns.
