Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Canton, SD is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized nursing care to residents. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all stages of health maintenance and treatment.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, resident education, and delegating tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure acceptable.
• Minimum age 18; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for residents.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Possess competency within the scope of nursing practice and act as/assist charge nurse as needed.
