Job summary

Good Samaritan in Wagner, SD is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN basis to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents. The role requires collaboration with residents, families and the care team to plan and evaluate care within the full scope of nursing practice.

The candidate must have completed a nationally accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license, and be willing to travel up to 75 miles to support multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Travel required to support multiple locations within 75-mile radius of permanent address.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Comply with the Nurse Practice Act and licensing rules in the state of practice.
