Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN nursing care across resident units. You will use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborating with residents, families and an interdisciplinary team.

The role may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, reliable care while meeting state standards and the organization’s ethical guidelines. Requires RN license and 18+.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• RN license in state of practice or compact licensure.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Adhere to Nursing Practice Act and standards of practice.
