Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN House Supervisor for a 111-bed teaching hospital in the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington. The role requires leadership experience and ACLS certification, with an active WA license and at least two years of nursing leadership experience.

The position features a 12-hour shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM), every-other-weekend schedule, no on-call or floating requirements, and a travel rate for candidates living more than 60 miles away.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Leadership experience required.
• Independent personality fit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Administration department serving as the facility's transferring receiving center for the local community.
• 111-bed hospital offering ED, Family Medicine, Ortho/Joint replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Lab, and Diagnostic Imaging services.
• Mixed patient population including busy Obstetrics but no pediatrics.
• Patient ratios vary by department.
• 12-hour shift schedule (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM).
• Every other weekend required.
• No call requirements.
• No floating requirements.
• Uses Paragon EHR system.
• Facility is a Level III trauma center.
• Serves as a teaching hospital in the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington.
• Reports to the CNO.
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis.
