Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an ED Nurse Manager with recent leadership experience and Emergency Department expertise to oversee patient care and daily operations in a Colorado hospital. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate ED operations, and partner with the Director of Patient Care Services.

An active CO RN license is required; BSN is preferred, with at least five years of nursing and ED-specific training. CAPS check is required.

Qualifications

• Active CO RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience.
• Leadership experience within the last 2 years.
• Training and experience in an Emergency Department setting required.
• Colorado CAPS check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ED patient care and nursing staff in a hospital ED.
• Supervise daily ED operations and ensure quality of care.
• Collaborate with Director of Patient Care Services to manage ED.
• Must be able to take bedside shifts as needed in addition to leadership duties.
• Location does not have public transportation, so reliable personal transportation is required.
• Use EPIC EMR for records and workflows.

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience

• Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Monday through Friday day shift with rotating weekend coverage
• Holiday coverage required
• Responsible for supervising patient care, nursing staff, and ED operations
• Partners with the Director of Patient Care Services to oversee daily ED operations
• Must be able to take bedside shifts as needed in addition to leadership duties
