TalentBurst is seeking an RN for Labor and Delivery at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage. The role is a 13-week contract with night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and 12-hour days, three days per week. Must hold AK RN license for submission and have L&D experience.
Required certifications include AWHONN NCC-EFM or equivalent, NRP, ACLS, and BLS. Onsite placement with competitive pay and benefits is offered.

Number of Beds - 7
Number of Staff – 4 night nurses on staff currently
Shift for the Traveler --- Night Shift
Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
o Night Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule
Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing

Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Must have OR circulator experience
Must have Labor and delivery experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE
Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation
Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD care

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provided royal blue scrubs (would change in the facility)

No elective pre 39 week deliveries, Pitocin Protocol, HTN and PP hemorrhage protocols, malignant hyperthermia protocols
Weekends and On call. Any additional information
