Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP position at a critical access hospital. Requires L&D and MedSurg/Peds experience, active MN RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. 12-hour night shifts, rotations, and on-call with 1-hour response.

Readiness to float to Med Surg/Peds when OB census is low. Candidate must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate; benefits include travel and licensure reimbursements, housing support, and comprehensive

Qualifications

Active MN RN license required (Standard or Compact).
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
L&D and MedSurg/Peds experience required.
Critical access hospital experience preferred.
Comfort with titrating drips such as Pitocin.
Ability to read fetal and cardiac monitor strips.
Copy of driver\'s license required for consideration.
Two professional references: supervisor from last 12 months and another from last 3 years.

Responsibilities

LDRP unit in a critical access acute care hospital setting.
Manage 4 L&D beds, 6 postpartum beds, and 1 triage bed.
Follow AWHONN ratios: 1:1 for induction, 1:2 for postpartum.
Care for labor, delivery, postpartum, hyperbilirubinemia, preterm labor, triage.
C-sections performed in OR; titrate drips (Pitocin).
Monitor tele via Phillips monitors and read own strips with support.
Use GE EFM; EPIC EMR used for documentation.
On-call/standby with 1-hour response; 12-hour night shifts 7p-7:30a, rotating every 3 weeks.
Work every third weekend and every third holiday; floats to Med Surg/Peds when OB census low.
