Job summary

AG Globe Services is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role requires strong L&D background, night shifts, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.

The position offers a 13-week contract with a 36-hour weekly schedule and a nightly 12-hour shift. A stipend package is provided to maximize take-home pay, with bi-weekly pay and orientation pay details to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced L&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using medical history, observation, physical examinations, and diagnostic data.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care to patients and families.
• Follow health and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Support Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators and department quality initiatives.
• Precept and mentor new and novice nursing staff as needed.
• Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and professional development activities.
• Float to other like units as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
