Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, Indiana. The role requires an active Indiana or compact RN license, BLS, and NRP, with duties in a Level 1 LDRP unit and 36 hours per week on a night shift.

This travel position offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,092, along with benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance from day one, a 401(k) plan, and per diem and housing stipends.

Qualifications

• Active IN or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• NRP certification required.
• Experience with fetal monitoring required; recent completion of AWHONN/Relias or similar program within past 2 years if not covered by competency exam.
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start.
• US Social Security Number and US home address required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 1 LDRP unit with dedicated beds and postpartum spaces.
• Direct nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients.
• Night shift schedule 18:45 to 07:15.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and document conditions.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
