Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. Start ASAP for a Level IV perinatal center with 15 L&D beds and a separate antepartum unit; nights from 7pm–7am and 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

Requirements include an active RN license (Nursys), BLS, NRP, and Advanced NRP; fetal monitoring certification or equivalent within 2 years. Perks include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), housing stipends, travel/licensure reimbursements,

Qualifications

Active RN license verified in 30 days prior to assignment.
Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery RN experience required.
Current BLS certification from AHA.
NRP certification from AHA/AAP required.
Advanced NRP certification required.
Fetal Monitoring certification (Ascension or AWHONN/Relias) within 2 years if not on competency exam.

Responsibilities

Care for labor, delivery, and antepartum patients in a high-acuity setting.
Work in a Level IV perinatal center with a 15-bed L&D unit and 20-bed antepartum unit.
Adhere to AWHONN staffing guidelines and local policies.
Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00; potential unit float as staffing requires.
Contract duration of 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.
Provide care within perinatal units and follow scrub/dress code provided.
Travelers may be eligible for travel/licensure reimbursements and per diem benefits.
