Job summary
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRP) in Kokomo, Indiana. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS and NRP certification, and at least 2 years of L&D experience. You’ll work 12-hour nights in a busy unit with 24/7 support from OB/GYNs and other specialists.
Travel assignments include a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits; local candidates may be considered at preferred rates per state rules.
Qualifications
- Active RN license verified via Nursys within 30 days prior to start.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Current NRP certification from AHA/AAP required.
- Fetal monitoring certification within past 2 years if not covered on competency exam.
- Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery RN experience.
- Must provide US SSN and US home address.
Responsibilities
- Work in a combined Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRP) unit.
- Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients.
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, laborists, midwives, and respiratory therapists 24/7.
- Manage night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 in a 12-hour schedule.
- Support a team-based environment with physicians and allied health staff.
