Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Shelby, NC. The nurse will provide comprehensive obstetric care during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum stages, monitoring mother and newborn, and addressing high-risk situations.

Requirements include active RN license, accredited nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications, with 18 months L&D experience. Travel benefits and housing options are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during and after delivery
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during birth
• Identify potential high-risk conditions and respond
• Educate and support mothers and families postpartum
