Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Elkin, North Carolina. The position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour days, starting 10/12/2026, for a 13-week duration.

Active RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited program are required, along with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications and 18 months of recent L&D experience in acute care settings. Travel compensation details will be provided by the recruiter.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care for women and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
• Monitor maternal and fetal vitals during labor
• Identify and respond to high-risk conditions
• Educate and support mothers and families before and after birth
