Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care L&D setting.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery nurses provide care to mothers and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and baby vital signs during birth.
• Identify and respond to potential high-risk issues.
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
