Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment. The role requires at least 1 year of L&D experience and strong fetal monitoring skills.

Active FL or Compact RN license and current BLS/NRP/ACLS certifications are required, along with the ability to read fetal monitoring strips. The position features 12-hour night shifts, a 36-hour workweek, and a 13-week assignment length.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and ACLS.
• Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips.
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting.
• 12-hour night shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit including fetal monitoring interpretation.
• No radius rule in place.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate.
• Permanent employees must be separated from employment for 90 days before returning as a traveler.
