Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Kokomo, Indiana. The candidate will work a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour day shift, in a travel capacity.

Requirements include an active RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent L&D experience in an acute care setting. Benefits and agency support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during and after delivery.
• Monitor maternal and newborn vital signs during labor.
• Assess and respond to potential high-risk conditions in obstetric patients.
• Educate families and support mothers during the perinatal period.
