American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Radiology role in Iowa. Requires active IA/compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 24 months IR lab experience with intraprocedural duties and Epic EMR proficiency.

The position features 5x8-hour days, on-call and weekend rotations, travel-friendly requirements, and housing/relocation support. First-time travelers with 12 months IR experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IA or compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience
• At least 15 months of interventional vascular experience in a hospital/medical center setting
• Intraprocedural IR experience required
• Sedation and monitoring experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab required

Responsabilités

• Interventional Radiology unit in a hospital setting
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Patient types include biopsies, bleeds, TIPS, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and port placements
• Administers cardiac drips including heparin
• Epic EMR used
• Days shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour schedule
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
• On-call rotation every 3rd week, including holiday rotation
• First-time travelers welcome to apply with at least 12 months of IR experience
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Limited time-off requests around Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday periods
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH facilities within 12 months
• Supervisory performance reference from within the last 2 years preferred
