American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a tertiary hospital assignment in South Carolina.

You will provide adult and pediatric vascular IR support, participate in sedation administration, and ensure patient safety during complex procedures. The role requires 2+ years of procedural nursing experience, SC or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and travel-nursing eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required.
• ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing experience required.
• Moderate sedation experience required.
• Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Pediatric/adult vascular IR experience preferred.
• Experience circulating for interventional procedures preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a tertiary hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
• On-call approximately once every 4 weeks for a full week (Mon-Sun).
• Weekend requirement limited to on-call coverage only.
• Uses Epic charting; radiation badge provided by agency.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN for a tertiary hospital requiring 2+ years of procedural nursing experience and moderate sedation skills.

Requirements

• Active South Carolina or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Pediatric/adult vascular IR experience preferred
• Experience circulating for interventional procedures preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a tertiary hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• On-call required approximately once every 4 weeks for a full week (Monday-Sunday)
• Weekend requirement limited to on-call coverage only
• No floating required between units or sister facilities
• Uses Epic charting system
• Radiation badge required, must be provided by the agency
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval depending on unit needs
• Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November, peak August-September)
