Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel staffing to serve underserved communities.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. The role requires an active RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience with 6 months travel nursing, and the ability to live within 60 miles of the work location.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Hold an unencumbered RN license in the practice state or multistate licensure if applicable.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
• Ability to live at least 60 miles from the work location.
• Maintain required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Provide care across all phases—from preventive measures and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care, perform patient assessments, educate patients, triage, and execute various nursing interventions.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing standards and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and professional codes.
