Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Unit. You will care for higher-acuity adult patients in IMCU/Step-Down with continuous cardiac monitoring and complex nursing responsibilities.

The role requires a compact or OK RN license and at least 2 years of experience, plus BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. Night shifts are 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts) with travel to sister facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact/OK) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• IMCU/PCU/Step-Down/ICU or Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Driver's license or state ID required.
• Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address recent months.

Responsibilities

• Care for higher-acuity adult patients in IMCU/Step-Down.
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and administer cardiac drips.
• Conduct frequent assessments and provide complex nursing care.
• Work with Epic for charting and coordinate with facilities as needed.
