Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract in Vallejo, CA. A valid CA RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience are required.

The assignment runs 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with Epic EMR at the facility. Local candidates are accepted, and travel and local rates are the same. Active BLS/ACLS are required; NIH Stroke Scale and CCRN are preferred; housing/travel reimbursements may be available.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required with no pending licensure.
• BLS and ACLS must be active at time of consideration.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience in the last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• NIH Stroke Scale, CCRN and dialysis/SLED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• ICU nursing in a hospital setting in Vallejo, CA.
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (12-hour shifts).
• 36 hours per week and 13-week contract.
• Epic EMR used at the facility.
• Local candidates accepted; local and travel rates are the same.
• Travelers with prior health system experience may require a 90-day break after accumulating two years.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an ICU setting at a hospital in Vallejo, CA
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

• Travelers who have worked with this health system may not exceed a cumulative two years on assignment without a 90-day break, regardless of continuity or gaps less than three months
