Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Minnesota. An active MN RN license and at least 2 years of critical care experience are required, with BLS certification and ACLS preferred. Telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators experience are expected.

The role includes 4x12 hour shifts, potential floating to multiple ICU-related units, and weekend coverage. Livescan fingerprinting and travel-related requirements apply; housing and licensure

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license or proof of license application.
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU with potential floating to CVTU, Tele, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU units.
• 4x12 hour Day or Night shift schedule (0700-1930 or 1900-0730).
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating prioritized to progressive care and neuroscience units when census allows.
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility.
• Complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Complete Livescan fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start date as required by state law.
• Local candidates within 25 miles not accepted.
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 9 months before returning as traveler.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO; no RTO during first 2 weeks.

• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
