Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience. Night shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with auto-offers of 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates must have active CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ICU experience in acute care facilities.

Local candidates are accepted at travel rates; vaccinations per policy apply, with exemptions considered. This role offers comprehensive benefits including housing assistance and licensure

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, in a specialty ICU unit.
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient population.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Delegate duties among healthcare team members.
• Must meet facility vaccination policy; exemptions considered.
• Local candidates welcome at travel rates; avoid >5 days off.

Responsibilities

• Specialty ICU unit within an acute care hospital
• Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Auto offer of 36 or 48 hours per week
• EPIC experience required
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient population using the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
