American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU travel assignment in Florida. Requires 2+ years in Trauma ICU, active FL/compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, with travel nurse experience preferred.

The role includes 12-hour night shifts, 2:1 patient ratios, and floating to sister campuses within a 15–20 minute radius. Housing allowance, benefits, and licensure support are provided.

Formación

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required
• Degree accreditation documentation or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match Board of Nursing on file
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Trauma SICU setting within a hospital
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Patient ratios of 2:1
• Administer drips and medications including Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Cardene, Cleviprex, Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, and Nitro
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency and property ownership
• Travelers are expected to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as RTO will not be approved after submission or offer
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation components and an in‑person visit required for badge/ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions
• Facility strongly values a flexible, team‑oriented culture, with travelers expected to integrate and function as core staff
• Floating is required, including the possibility of floating to sister campuses
