Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Critical Care Float RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring recent ICU/ED experience and a CT or compact RN license. The role involves floating between ICU, Intermediate Care, and Medical-Surgical units, with 36 hours per week and a 12-hour night schedule.

Must have CT/compact RN license, 2+ years ICU/ED experience, CPR/ACLS, EPIC EMR, and vaccinations. Local candidates within 75 miles preferred; overtime rotation possible.

Qualifications

• Active CT or compact RN license required.
• At least 2 years of recent ED and/or ICU nursing experience required.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Flu and COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.

Responsibilities

• Float between ICU, Intermediate Care, and Medical-Surgical units as part of the critical care float pool.
• Night shift 12 hours: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment; rotating weekends and holidays.
• Uses EPIC EMR system and may be required to work additional hours in overtime rotation to ensure unit coverage.
• Orientation held every Monday.
• Accepts local candidates within 75 miles of the facility; first-time travelers not considered.

• Patient ratios vary by unit and can be discussed during the interview
• 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Float between ICU, Intermediate Care, and Medical-Surgical units as part of the critical care float pool
• May be required to work additional hours as part of a mandatory overtime rotation pool to ensure unit coverage
• Orientation held every Monday
• Accepts local candidates within 75 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
