• Pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing.
• Coordinate care with facility teams and ensure patient safety.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and a completed travel assignment.

Details

• 10-bed ICU unit in a community hospital setting
• Cares for critically ill adult patients with medical emergencies, post-surgical needs, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• May occasionally manage pediatric patients requiring stabilization before transfer to tertiary centers
• Manages acute stroke patients as a certified Primary Stroke Center with telestroke/tele-neurology services
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• MA license required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population including medical, surgical, and stroke cases
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning

• Weekly Stipends: $1,379/wk
• Lodging: $129.00 x 7 days = $903
• Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476
